St. Clair County: Pine River Site

This site is located in Goodell’s Park on the south branch of the Pine River. Three soil bioengineering practices were installed on a 220-foot section of the river: brush mattress, fascines, and vegetated geogrid.

The following photos show the site before installation of soft engineering practices. Prior to construction, the banks were graded back to a stable grade.
