Joint Planting

Live stakes created from harvested plant materials were installed through joints in the bank toe rock rip-rap. They will provide additional anchoring for the fascines and added plant growth upon sprouting. Stakes measured approximately 2 feet long X 1-1.5 inches in diameter.

Rebar and a long pry bar were used to create pilot holes through the rock rip-rap for the live stakes.
