Erosion Control Blanket Installation

100% biodegradable erosion control blanket was installed to protect the newly seeded banks from erosion until plant germination and establishment. The blankets were rolled out and cut to fit the banks. After sections of blanket were cut, trenches were dug at the top of the slope, and just above the rock rip-rap. The bottom trench was for the live fascines, with the erosion control blanket installed under the fascines. The blanket was laid in the top of slope trench and the trench backfilled with soil to anchor the blanket at the top.
